A popular baby food in Australia is being recalled. The Food Safety Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) officially made the recall on the 4th of September 2017. But what product is involved?
The product that is being recalled is Rafferty’s Garden’s “Happy Tummies” range of vegetable risotto. There are fears that glass may have ended up in the packets. The Arborio rice used in the production was what caused the concern. The glass was introduced in production at the rice manufacturer and it went undetected. Although Rafferty’s Garden is confident that their rigorous quality screening mechanisms were alerted, they have initiated a recall of the affected batches as a precautionary measure.
No other products by Rafferty’s Garden’s are affected and the batch that has the best before dates of:
- 10 Aug 2018
- 12 Aug 2018
